Jim Cline is passionate Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability and Security (EHSS&S) Sustainability Executive with international experience in healthcare, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and EHS consulting industries at Fortune 100 companies. Adept at leading large, globally-dispersed teams of technical and operations professionals in highly matrix organizations. Demonstrated ability to establish vision, strategy, roadmap, and tactics to implement world-class EHS management systems and programs. Leadership skills in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, kaizen, and program development/implementation resulting in value added cost effective management.

He currently leads Cooper Tire & Rubber's Global Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Security efforts/programs/organization as well as Environmental Social Governance Executive Committee. He led the restructuring of environment, health/safety, security, and sustainability organizations into a cohesive global organization. His responsibilities include leading the global COVID-19 pandemic prevention and mitigation program and crisis management team, developing, implementing, and leading the ESG Executive Committee and global working groups, developing and implementing EHS&S leading indicators, leading global machine guarding/machine safety initiatives and authoring the annual Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Sustainability Report as well other Transparency Reporting efforts.

With over 30 years of business experience, Jim has held EHS leadership positions with Cardinal Health, AMEC Earth and Environment, United Technologies Corporation (UTC) and UT Automotive.  Prior to UTC Jim worked for several years in the EHS consulting community.

He has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut e, an MS in Hazardous Waste Management, Wayne State University and a BS in Geology from Western Michigan University.
