Michael Hagerty is a proven Safety, Health, and Environmental executive with over 30 years of experience in a variety of commercial and industrial workplaces. He is accomplished in delivering improved safety processes, risk management, workers' compensation, fleet management, and ergonomics. He is adept in the development of safety programs and risk management processes in a variety of areas custom-tailored to fit the needs of the individual organization.

Michael is engaged in the development and continuous improvement of Flowers Foods safety management systems. He is setting the strategic vision and helping lead the execution of safety, health, and security goals for the company. Flowers Foods is a 100-year-old company based in Thomasville, GA with over $4 billion in annual sales of key brands such as Nature's Own and Dave's Killer Bread. The company has 885 total locations across the US and a combined workforce of 18,000 employees and associates.

Michael earned his engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and his master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University. He is very happy to call Atlanta, Georgia home.
